Netherlands vs Turkey Predicted Lineups Preview

This will be the 15th international encounter between the Netherlands and Turkey (6 victories for the Netherlands, 4 draws, and 4 wins for Turkey), however, it will be the first to take place during a significant competition (the World Cup or Euros).

There have been 13 goals in total (6.5 per game) in the past two games between Netherlands and Türkiye, as the latter won 6-1 in September 2021 and the former 4-2 in March 2021 to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

Five of the previous seven major tournament quarterfinals (World Cup/EUROs) have seen the Netherlands advance; the most recent of the two exceptions was when they lost to Argentina in a penalty shootout at the 2022 World Cup.

The last time the Oranje faced a quarterfinal in the European Championship was in 2008 when they fell short against Russia 3-1. Following EURO 2000, the World Cup in 2002, and EURO 2008, Turkey has advanced to the quarterfinals of a major competition (the World Cup/EUROs) for the fourth time.

They advanced to the semifinals of the last two of those competitions, only losing to Portugal 0–2 in the EURO 2000 final. At the UEFA European Championship, Netherlands has only advanced from three of its previous nine knockout matches.

The Oranje are hoping to win two knockout matches in a single finals edition for just the second time, since they won the title in 1988, after defeating Romania 3-0 in this year’s round of 16.

Netherlands vs Turkey Betting

If you are interested in betting, it may be worth considering placing a wager on the Netherlands. This game is a nail-biter, with both teams giving it their all. But we believe the Netherlands will probably emerge victorious over Turkey. It might be worth considering placing a wager on the Netherlands, given their potential advantages.

If you’re feeling bold and seeking to potentially boost your earnings with higher stakes, you might consider placing a wager on Turkey emerging victorious, perhaps through a penalty shootout. Despite the potential risks and the unpredictable nature of the game, there is a feeling of optimism that the Turkey team can emerge victorious in this match. (If it’s a great day for them.)
